The team at Batsanis is excited to be showcasing the new Autumn/Winter collection both in store and online.
The collection for this season has been inspired by the beautiful Italian tradition of producing footwear that is stylish,functional and above all easy to wear. The leathers have been sourced from the finest Italian tanneries and our manufacturing process has combined modern technology with traditional craftsmanship.
Rounded toe shapes feature prominently in our collection for the season, with a good variety of both leather soles and genuine rubber soles. Many styles have the versatility to be worn both for business purposes and for smart casual dressing.
Boots have a strong emphasis this season, with styles ranging from "zip sided", "gussett" and "lace-up".
Following on from our Spring/Summer collection, suede also features strongly in this seasons range. Batsanis has sourced the appropriate shoe care products to enable our customers to look after their footwear in an easy and time efficient manner. Well it’s officially Summer! And ok, there’s been a bit of rain. A lot of rain. But temperatures are up, hairdos are curling, and here in Melbourne it almost feels like we’re actually in one of the tropical states!

LONGER LIFE FOR YOUR SHOES
Did you know there are some really easy ways to make your shoes last longer and go that extra distance?
Here are some tips on how to make sure that your Batsanis shoes will stay in tip-top shape for that little but oh-so-worthy bit longer:
1. Give your shoes a quick couple of coats of Water and Stain Protector before your first wear. A top-up coat every couple of months (especially in these wet seasons) won't hurt either.
2. Restore the beautiful look of the leather on your shoes with a rub of Renovating Polish. It also helps repel water and protect your shoes. The neutral colour polish is great for browns, taupes and grey coloured shoes.
3. Liquid Renovating Polish in black is fantastic for business shoes, it's quick and easy to apply and gives the same result as the regular Renovating Polish.
4. Suede Shampoo and Suede Brushes are essential for maintaining suede leather finishes, you'll be surprised at how easily scuff marks and dirt come out, leaving your shoes looking like new.
5. Instant Shine in black or neutral are fantastic for those of you on the go. Handy for travelling or just to keep in your office drawer so you don't get caught out before an unexpected meeting with the boss.
6. Shoe horns are actually very useful too, you know. Not only do they make it easier for you to slide your foot into even the stiffest of shoes, but by using them to put your shoes on you are also preventing heel damage to the shoe. If you don’t use a shoe horn, the structure of the heel can collapse or tear, losing support for the back of your foot and ankle. Batsanis shoe horns are sturdy and smooth, and small so that you can simply slip them into your briefcase or back-pack side pocket.
4. Have a Topy put on your shoe soles. We especially recommend this for leather-soled shoes, to give the soles extra wear. Any shoe repairer should be able to put Topys on your shoes, but come into one of our Batsanis stores and our staff will happily answer any questions you have about them.
So, it’s really easy to help your shoes live a long and useful life if you take good care of them by following any or all of these tips. Stock up on the Batsanis shoe care range in any of our stores. They really work (trust us, we’ve been using them for decades), and they won’t cost you more than a couple of coffees!
